[Closes cigarette case] They are just as sentimental about this place as you are.

[Distant shouting] ♪ ♪ [Click] [Door closes] [Chickens clucking] [Distant dog barking] [Sighs] [Rooster crowing outside] ♪ [Doorknob turning] ♪ Here, here.
[Unlocks, opens door] ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ [Sea gulls crying] ♪ ♪ [Door closes] [Sighs] ♪ ♪ [Sighs] ♪ Ellinor: What took you so long?
I thought you were just returning the car key.

You thought you could keep it a secret, but the maids have seen your drawings.

[Scoffs] If we want people from the outside to come to the restaurant, they need a place to stay over.
Ellinor, I'm sure the regulars won't like it.

The annex is too small.

It's just too expensive rebuilding this old house.

He could die alone at home while I'm here at this horrible place.
I only came along because I thought we were looking at a property together, but now you just bought this old, rundown hotel without even seeing it, and now I'm trying to make the necessary improvements and you won't let me because it's too expensive.
You know, I can make this a business.
But of course, it's more important what Mr.
Madsen thinks.
[Exhales sharply] Ellinor, dear-- Don't touch me!
I'm going home.
You can stay here if you want to.

[Unlatches suitcase] Ellinor, please.
If the house is so bad, you know, there is another way.

Well, that's totally out of the question.
