He's coming in.
It's a helicopter slam jam the pull up from three.
Watch this guy go wheel drive, backs it in and gets it from the Making Colosseum in the Making Center Flex.
It is the last championship game decided on Friday night.
The Boys five, a championship, the demons of Warner Robins coming out of Region two with the record of 28 and two going up against the five time champs Miller Grove coming in from region six.
So the record of 27 and five.
I'm John, this is Sean.
We're going to have some kind of history set here tonight one way or the other with these two teams.
Let's talk about Miller Grove to start things off an unheard of five.
They've gone past the thumb and they're working on the second hand.
Well, the beautiful thing to like about this Miller Grove team, John it's not the typical Miller Grove guys with the Met dance all-American.
These players have worked hard all season long with a chance to go for number six Bibb County, Houston County, Central Georgia.
Tough to get a state championship.
Warner Robins had almost a home game at Fort Valley, beating Stevenson in the semifinal to get here.
Colors do not matter.
Everyone in the county wearing red and black hair.
Red and black is the key color.
But number one, everybody wants that first state championship for Warner Robins.
And tonight's the chance.
Have you going to start off with Nate Curtis?
He's a junior guard.
What I like about him, he's their best athlete, best defender, and also leading the team with 12, 12 points a game.
Big balance for Warner Robinson.
On the flip side, let's talk about ice.
But ICE is the guy that we all want to watch out.
Tyrique Gilbert, 19.7 points a game 3.8 assists.
He can do it all rebound score.
Watch him with the basketball because he is crap.
Let's take a look at our starting lineup brought to our friends at Rutgers by our friends at Regions Bank.
It's time to expect more.
You just saw all three Gilbert Keith Pinkney averaging just as much as Gilbert is.
You got Kendall Williams, Raelynn, Richardson and James Walker the rest of your starting five for the Wolverines.
On the flip side, Warner Robins, Murray Harris, Nate Curtis, Marquis Calloway and Stefon Rabon, your starting five for Warner Robins.
We talk about color not mattering.
North Side folks have jettisoned the blue.
They're wearing red and black tonight.
And there's your keys.
Let's start off with Warner Robins.
Warner Robins, Do not read the paper.
Yes.
This is a dominating team going for number six.
Don't read the paper.
You're pretty good game to the state championship game.
And don't be intimidated.
You have a chance to win the big dance.
And on the flip side, for Miller Grove, Miller Grove's got to stay hungry.
Going for number six.
That is special.
Stay hungry, but embrace the emotional path that they've embraced this year.
This team started off with They lost with two real common, befallen teammates, a junior embrace the most new path.
Utilize it to your advantage.
Tonight you can find keys to success brought to us by our friends at the technical college system.
Georgia Tech, ASG Learn more, earn more and the man nattily attired.
Someday there will be colors in a man's rainbow.
But tonight it is all black charm.
Like the head coach of MG, who started the program from scratch and a cat county kids and got it some amazing things at his DeKalb County schools.
On the flip side, three sport athlete at Warner Robins, the grad Jamaal Barman, knew when Brian Wade picked him up as the head coach for the middle school team that the sixth graders would do some special things.
He has coached those sixth graders.
They are the seniors today for Warner Robins, the demons chasing after that first state championship in basketball.
And they've got to go through Miller Grove to do it.
There's a rap man in charge, Charles Dunn's in the claim to be a morgan.
They're the three in the Zephyrs trying to toss it up to decide the final championship on Friday.
The eighth championship is now underway here at the making Policymaking center Flex.
Warner Robins wants to run.
They're doing it.
It's out of control, out of bounds, helter skelter off the top.
And John, just off the start, you can feel the energy here.
The crowd, both sides, both Miller Grove and also Warner Robins, have a lot of excitement about themselves.
We talked about in what to expect, how to channel all of that positivity that you're getting from an entire region here.
In talking to coach Byron.
And he said the first couple of minutes are going to be huge.
He says guys are ready to play, but how they will respond in this championship atmosphere is the big part.
Working the perimeter jumper Good he Pinckney They give him three.
Yeah Tulane's getting a great guard here for Milagro.
This young man is strong, great body, but he knows how to put the ball in the basket.
Veteran Starting five from the Liberal sets Murray running point Nate Curtis 11 focused on him in the open off the back of the rim no good no guards ready to run spot up three partially blocked They're going to waive off the foul but Miller Grove is going to continue on offense Nice Gilbert way out high yes start the offense so by taking on the rotation coming here to to Williams long three attempts in short picked up Warner Robins they're going to want to run busy hands almost knocked away but Warner Robins will set up their offense the minute 25 in.
Yeah.
Think you shot that ice up that shot from Atlanta Georgia right here and making this little shot in front of the rim and follows Calloway with the basketball gets rid of it through the hands almost out of bounds Sam Harris picks it up Nice dish along the baseline dipsy do for Tony Curtis gives it to Richard Reid up and under Nice pass with Curtis you can lift this off the glass so teams on the board can get that championship shake out get adjusted to the game here fellow in 2 minutes road leading three to Williams double down on the corner Jumper run no good James Wofford and then back the other way He's Warner Robins step step Sam Harris with the stride and calm it down guarded by key Pinckney 5 seconds forward on the other way.
Here's how Warner Robins broke the ice.
That's the way when you drive drive to you a slashes slash slash.
John And if there's penetration you want to attack the rim looking for the easy pass up and under by Nate Curtis stranded on the inside coming back out the other way Warner Robins they've got numbers they've got speed Nate Curtis blocked from behind Raven Richardson, a sophomore.
Richardson showing he's athletic and he will attack the ball in defensive transition Never gave up on the play good block from behind by Curtis caught the inbounds it to Marquise Calloway He's going to launch in about 27 off the rim no good waist it opportunity there by Warner Robins heading back the other way Johnny seems like both teams are still trying to find their way here early in the game with little less than 3 minutes into the game.
So both teams, John, just trying to take their time, not shooting the ball well, but just trying to find their way early.
Miller Grove early field goal numbers, one of four from the floor and they've all been from the outside, outside the 1991 for three pick out back to you.
Got it.
Give us one of those players, John.
He's not electrifying as far as jumping over people.
But by the end of the night, you see him in the high twenties, maybe thirties, with this way of scoring as a sophomore already getting looks, Arizona State and Georgia Tech.
And they're going to get another year or so to see how high school that's going to work.
On his game playing blocks out of bounds once more.
James Walker looks like he had a shot there thanks to Miller girl the Sooners strong presence inside defensively body contact that's one of Robbins at the line four to balance Kendall Williams off the block Galloway gets a free throw line four straight goes up and goes and seems like there may be a little pressure from up here.
John Key on the Make free throw by Calloway so you have Miller Grove can handle it two for two margin back to one coming up on the halfway point here first quarter boys five eight championship Noah Groves chasing after rare error six titles in a row if they can win tonight with easy play like that by Rayland Richardson, they'll be on their way.
Oh, that's a good play.
Way to take that zone inside out.
Good flash by the sophomore getting it done on both ends of the court.
Quick pass, quick entry now down on the floor scrambled and steps.
Call as Jamal Garmon, head coach for Warner Robins team made the playoffs last year with a losing record.
But he had the feeling that was going to be something special with this bunch and made it all the way here to the championship in Macon, three quarters away from a title first ever for the school in basketball baseline, stripped from behind Great defense by Warner Robins.
They're going to come back out with it.
Calloway will bring it past halfcourt set up the offense near corner looks the drive baseline does short with the right hand picked around by Miller Grove, but they're going to come back out with it.
Nice Gilbert thinks about it.
Crossover pass inside nice unselfish play for the two two Richardson That's what makes Gilbert so special.
John He gets so much attention where he has the ball.
If his teammates get open, they'll be able to benefit from his assist.
The foul is on Stefon.
Raybon.
We're going to come back, find out what's going on.
Miller Grove up nine four early on the great JB welcome back Making policy and making center flex 318 for the first Miller drove up five And you see the hash tags you see the catchphrases with the numbers.
TWD six, four, two four, and that is to show support for a player who is still on the active roster yet was lost to us today before the season started.
Terrell Coleman, a freshman integral to the Miller growth program, and Jon, his presence is felt very strongly in that community at this school and with that team.
And the sad part about the situation.
His birthday would have been Thursday.
So this is something this win tonight is not about just going for six, but it's also about his presence, his emotions and know what the community has done to pull this team together.
It's a small forward.
You see right there.
The jersey always stays at the end of the bench, always close to the Miller Grove community's heart.
Even as a freshman at Small forward ranked as the nation's 13th overall prospect for 2017, was playing a football, collapsed during a game in suburban Atlanta the day before the first practice of the season.
And you see the 642 force with all the support there.
That is the sixth title for 24.
And the hashtag on the t shirts that you may have seen, hashtag TWD, that's all part of it as well.
So it's all showing support for Terrell Coleman.
Together we attack hashtag TWD and again at the start we talk about embracing this atmosphere.
But Warner Robins, Miller Grove is doing the same thing.
They are embracing the atmosphere, free throw rims out, out of bounds.
It'll stay with Miller Grove.
Nate Curtis couldn't hang on to it.
Early numbers from the floor.
Warner Robins 1 to 5.
Miller throw for four eight Scramble on the floor once again looks like coming out with it's going to be Warner Robins but a foul on the grab looks like by James Walker and that'll be Walker's first second foul familiar grove and they'll start it all over again pressure pressure pass to high but once again great defense trying to save it coming back the other way Helter skelter Keith Pinckney for the two and it's 11 four that's what I like about this Miller Grove team John they do not quit.
They're going to be relentless on their pressure and always, always attacking the rim six oh Miller Grove run to get to the seven point distance Curtis looking to drive into the paint stripped out of bounds stays with Warner Robins and also kudos to the officials of what they're doing John they know that's a lot of emotion in this game tonight.
So they're let the players play instead of dictating the tempo of the game.
With this, with the whistle, Curtis gets the inbound guarded by Devin Dorsett 11 right now in the game for Miller goes up and in almost off the front of the rim No good here comes Miller Grove again Gilbert pull up rim no jaw set goes up for the rebound.
Nate Curtis is all alone and that gets the crowd back into it, which is something that Warner Robins desperately needed.
That may have been the one thing, John, That's right.
To get this crowd started, look for the defensive intensity to pick up for one.
And Robbins Dorsett looking to get to Gilbert's saved was almost an I got it you take it with Gilbert Richardson baseline up and in for the easy two James Walker the luxury of having a point guard Gilbert He always has an answer coming up with 1 to 2 pressure drive for the easy two in transition.
Marquis Calloway was even though Miller Grove is pressing, may not be wise right now.
John Because the only way that one of is scoring is in transition, protecting the basket.
You may want to pull your press off, drop into a half squat man to man.
Dorsett thought one thing was going to happen.
It turned out it didn't.
Deflected on the way out of bounds.
So.
Miller Trouble will keep possession in the game now Omar Venable James Walker will sit handoff dangerous to Keith Pinckney guarded by Courtney Johnson now in for Warner Robins coming up on 110 to go first quarter Noah Grove up 13 eight jumper Nope good big sky up top Nate Curtis comes down with it for Warner Robins trying to work quickly in transition Russell and block wave it off and a foul in the spot before the drive fouls on Rayland Richardson now it'll be his first and you see how Warner Robins defense John is starting to pick up that intensity in the defensive end as being becoming part Calloway being guarded by Richardson.
50 seconds to go for the first Miller Grove up eight, a60 run gave him the cushion that they've been working with.
Pull up jumper.
Looks like it's short.
It is short.
Crashing the boards.
Warner Robins knocked out of bounds.
It'll stay with your go to Miller Drive coming back now what drives coming back on offense if it's five of their last seven from the field to give them this 13 eight advantage Pinckney drive knocked out from behind but they'll say the pinky touched it laughs coming back to Warner Robins Miller Grove sit in the double high screen as Pittman lost control of the ball trying to create make something happen.
30 seconds to go.
It's like Warner Robins is going to play for one and see if Miller Grove comes out to challenge.
Defensively.
They did.
They're into the corner jumper foul and looks like it's going to be three shots.
It's obviously a foul on Omar Venables and it'll be his first and Marquise Callaway shot for three free throws with 16.4 to go here in the first.
First one's good and the defense is called John was superb on Milagros behalf on a back 2 to 3 zone and making one robins play from the perimeter.
But the gamble opened up the three point attempts.
The second one, James released quick changes for Miller Grove at the end of the quarter.
Richardson and Venable out.
James Walker back in ten to Williams back in.
Here's a third free throw.
That's a two to the Miller Grove has to work slightly quickly here the in rush but don't hurry with 8 seconds baseline jumper got it nice soft touch good patience there on Milagros behalf John James Walker's jumper was the last points of the first quarter Warner Robins with a practical home game.
Miller drove chasing history.
Warner Robins chasing history on their own five A title game done with 8 minutes.
Miller Grove up 1511.
We'll be back for the second quarter on the great GPB.
Stay with us.
Welcome back to make them coliseum MG 15 Warner Robins 11.
Guys let's talk about strength of schedule horses, but more specifically, Miller Grove.
Some people might be wondering a 27 and five record at a state championship.
Well, it's because they played a national schedule.
They went to places like Nike Explosion flying to the hoop, the Beach Ball Classic, just to name a few.
So these guys could prepare for this moment tonight.
Back over to you, John and Sean here, Raven, Milagros, last loss regardless, January 20th to Roselle, New Jersey, at flying to the hoop, their last loss to a Georgia team.
New Jersey to Norcross.
And then they lost back to back to Columbia and bullets Maryland, then a Christmas tournament.
The only other loss that they had this season was to six eight finalist Wheeler on December the seventh.
So.
And Shaun White not afraid to play anybody any time anywhere.
No.
And you talk about the Christmas tournament down in Myrtle Beach, the Myrtle Beach Classic, that's the number one Christmas holiday tournament in the United States.
We've played in as a high school player.
John, only the best play this Norgrove starts off right to left here start of the second quarter four point lead had a60 run at one point to give themselves a little distance Warner Robins came back blocked the second it went into the paint ball on the floor.
He's coming up with it scramble changed possession about three different times on a whistle and see what the end result was.
It's like the fouls on Sam Harris of Warner Robins here this Christmas.
The scrappiness, John to both teams.
I love it.
You know the butterflies of both teams were there in the beginning of the first quarter, John.
The right now everyone settled down and playing it basketball.
So then if you're Jamaal Bowman concerned about that first couple of minutes and the first impression would be what?
Well, it's not bad because they started out one four.
They stood up once to six, get two of their last three and MG started one of five and then ended up six of their last eight.
So both teams had a lot of butterflies.
John had some nervous energy.
Now the game is starting to fall into place.
Leland Richardson In the game and in transition.
Another basket attempt again, too hard by Calloway out of bounds.
Warner Robins can't recover.
So it looks like Warner Robins has found something in the quick outlet, sending someone long and creating transition opportunity.
Well, they're taking advantage of what the defense is giving them.
The defense is pressuring them.
So and that's the way the MG plays.
They want to press the ball but may not be the wisest thing to do right now, because on the way that Warner Robins is scoring, John is in transition.
Richardson tries to drive James Lock tries to follow up, Knocked out of Bounds Nice touch by Miller Grove.
Here comes Warner Robins on offense.
But once again, man pressure.
There's a transitional opportunity across halfcourt Courtney Johnson, 12 black handling the basketball saw him a little bit in the first back to Marquez Calloway Calloway once again driving drive into the paint long right hand no good second chance no good there by Stefon Rabon coming back.
Miller drove like a bit of a high carry, but a foul on the other side underneath Courtney Johnson as well transition basket there for Miller Grove ended up at the free throw line but more importantly, time on the defensive end.
They stuck with the press.
They came out of it.
Now that the free throw line, the chance to go up seven rimmed out on the first.
Now watch the change in defenses here.
Miller Grove.
They've got to do a better job of protecting that rim and second free throw by Pinckney is good and they call off the press hey a32 zone You see how Warner Robins handles it.
Harris and Courtney Johnson and Sam Harris into the corner.
Calloway Back out top little penetration.
Nice drop.
Step up and off the rim No good but a foul again the way want to ROBBINS John is getting to the free throw line the way they're scoring is off penetration everything's off penetration and one in a grove gophers extending their defense for what reason?
I don't know.
Protect the paint Protect the paint.
Foul on Rayland Richardson to his second goal to keep an eye on that for the rest of the first half.
And Sam White is immediately turning and Milagros so accustomed to pressure and they can pressure teams in the turnovers night in the state championship game.
I understand you have control of the basketball tempo of the game when you protect the basket makes one of two Milagros coming back pass into the paint deflected by Calloway Warner Robins trying to figure out a way to come through and they give it to Callaway.
They have numbers in transition Johnson BLOCK and see who touches it Last year, stay with Warner Robins.
Although Sharma is calling for it to hit one, Robins player laughs to bring it back the other way.
Let's take another look.
Well, good job to the basket.
Great defense, pursuit of the ball.
James Walker.
Nice block offensive foul on Nate Curtis That's his first as they come back the other way And John we haven't talked about Gilbert I know he's not a allowed score even though he will enough with 20 plus points but he still has to be more effective here in the game to give Milagro a better chance.
Back of the rim.
No good coming out in transition.
And Warner Robins with numbers, no draws closing quickly knocked out of bounds Great pursuit from behind by Key Pinckney.
Nice back to him from Pinckney That's pursuit of the basketball and you watch that on Milagros defensive end John when there's transition they pursue the ball well 2 minutes into the second quarter Orlando with a five point lead 1712 boys five championship Peligro five in a row can set boys history if they win this game to be their sixth consecutive title.
Nice drive, nice role.
Looks for two Sam Harris and Robbins down the baseline that time for the two who again goes back to the drives on not protecting the basket.
You've got to do a better job of protecting the basket protecting the bank the paint defensively like Courtney Johnson was calling that foul.
That'll be his second.
Here's the other look at one.
ROBBINS There's a baseline and Walker lays and one to Robbins not known for their three point shooting that's why baffles me a little bit there.
Miller Grove has been so intent on pressuring the basketball away from the paint.
Tariq Gilbert's several different attempts, trying to figure out if he can get into the paint he can't pin to Williams does tries to pass to James Walker knocked out of bounds goes over the wall Robert.
516 for the first half Miller Grove Warner Robins still seems like it's punch counterpunch right now Warner Robins home crowd behind him will grow playing in another hostile environment.
3 minutes to 3 minutes drawn here second quarter to it.
Warner Robins can do offensively Nice jumper right there and Curtis hey that's the first jump shot Davis He hit pretty much the game.
John And that's good for them because now there's confidence, there's light at the end of the tunnel of what they can do outside of driving the basketball to the back to the basket.
Make Curtis with seven jumper off the back of the rim No good position underneath by Steph on Rabon on James Walker Warner Robins down one can do something here What's the baseline pull back out up top three point attempts look short is short that comes Miller drove in transition they had the runner deep but out of control but pursuit from behind and you've got guys behind you a third chance for Miller Grove but they're going to go with the frantic pace off the rim.
Fourth chance blocked underneath fifth opportunity for Miller grows in in terms of saw him staying with the basketball suiting the ball Nate Curtis trying to come back the other way to neutralize the two that happened in the frantic pace underneath and count it in a foul Devin Dorsett on the run is to set foul on Stephon wrap on his second for Warner Robins 354 to go first half Warner Robins and Miller drop trading punch to counter punch right now the Wolverines up five on JB welcome back Meighan Coliseum Macon center plex 354 for the second Here we go ladies Good to see it.
Thanks for hanging out here this evening.
Miller Grove up five on Warner Robins, 21 to 16.
Let's take a look at the road to the championships brought to us by our friends at Georgia EMC, Georgia EMC lighting the way.
Here's Miller Grove over Gainesville, 20.1 over Billerica, 12 over the region.
Rivals very tough Tucker squad then beating Jenkins Savannah 6952 to get here tonight to take on demons.
On the flip side, here's how Warner Robins got here.
13 over white water, four over a very talented Effingham County squad 5344 win Bainbridge by 21 and then surviving the game against Stephenson.
Stephenson had an opportunity to win late off a missed free throw with 3 seconds to go in regulation couldn't get the ball to fall 4543 so they had a home game at Fort Valley taking on Stephenson in the semifinals and they got a home game here in the Macon Coliseum.
It's a great atmosphere, great atmosphere for a state championship game, but this is something I've thought there's so much emotion done in this game.
Each player, each player's trying to make the big play, but not realizing that the small little plays add up because you can get to three by going one plus one plus one.
It doesn't have to be three plus zero.
It ends up three plus zero because you're not going to beat they're not going to be in the team plus zero plays, but got a chance to make more singles and you do home runs, so you're just looking for clean singles instead of a home run shot.
Well, right now, net, the home runs come to you on the swing.
Don't try to go out every time there's a play on the court trying to hit the home run play each and every time.
Second quarter field goal numbers, both squads, two, three.
So defenses are tightening up here in the second quarter is longer, three and a half to go first half baseline moves.
Take it back out to Nate Curtis.
Can't find the handle here comes Miller Grove.
They don't have numbers two on three.
Gilbert wisely pulls it up corner Baseline drive dish send it back out Walker to Pinckney jumper high arching shot is good any basket in the state championship game John good take it That's one from the short corner you take it James Walker with the deuce he now has six ladies up to eight and Robbins has to be careful here to make sure that Noah Grove doesn't continue to get in transition and get the game to ten and 12 and get it out of control in a hurry.
Scramble on the floor, thought for picking up Terry Harris down there.
All of his possessions stays with Warner Robins.
That's huge.
There's your three off the high arc and think yeah, those are the kind of shots that Coach Sharman realizes he can make.
Retakes seven oh, Miller Grove run this was it, 1766.
And they've gotten those seven points in the last 80 seconds where they're scoring zone off their defense, Defense to transition, defense to transition.
That's the MG way.
That's how you're going to win tonight.
And Robin's trying to cycle through Callaway inside to make Curtis back out to Marquise Calloway near corner, Sam Harris in to Curtis Curtis Off the glass gets the roll.
Yeah, the rim was very kind and that move and that's a fantastic way of isolating him at the high post knocked on every door came in through the back patio 24 to 18 and Warner Robins, I think, safe to say, really needed that too to stop the momentum of Miller go.
Oh, they did crosscourt Hi Parker try to work the baseline Harris kicks it back out and that'll work nicely for Boykins from up top.
Every basket is important.
Mark Boykins with the bucket there.
2718 It's nine Calloway He'll match the three.
Got it And count it.
It's six.
Let's take a look at how this turned into a possible four point opportunity.
Scrambling late on a closeout.
Nice throw down Calloway's more hands, Boykins called for the foul and Williams said to check back in.
Boykins will leave Nance for a four point play John first one of the week in the 102 seconds to go first half got it Got it.
CALLOWAY Now with 11 half of Warner Robins 22, they cut the margin to five.
So come up on 90 seconds to go first half.
PINKNEY Dish doesn't fall off the corner of the rim, coming back out in numbers.
Warner Robins two on one.
Terry Harris BLOCK Did he just touch his head on the bottom of the rim?
At five foot 11?
Sophomore point guard Let's see a sec.
The elevation here is all he can.
He score.
He also can fly.
And let's see how much he can fly here.
Alley And they just miss you and they call a foul.
They're calling it intentional, it looks like, on Nate Curtis.
And this could be big.
Here's your bucket right there.
And they're calling an intentional foul on Nate Curtis.
That's definitely intentional foul Both players trying to make the play on the ball, trying to make a play at the basket.
I know defense is trying to protect these kids, but that's one of those you kind of just foul and just don't get on the free throw line.
You saw the splashy face reaction there by Jamal Garland, trying to figure out why he was called Paint Me.
This is the first to see what happens with this one note.
You talk about a hostile environment John.
That's exactly what that was.
Good home cooking.
The students went in the end zone and came out with nothing.
Let's take a look from the high side.
I looked at the left arm coming down and look at that tomahawk shot.
Yeah, Curtis said, Drop the hammer on it.
Terry Harris had to take the foot and bring it down the floor, this one to rob his team.
John is relentless defensively.
I love the way they play.
So Harris goes on Gilbert's five eight on 511, Gilbert pulls up.
Looks like it's short.
It is short.
Nate Curtis with the rebound Million dollar move, five dolphins under a minute to go first half Marquis Callaway thought about it considering the hot hand he's had in the first 2008.
Curtis He's triple teamed off top and it looks like the foul on ice.
Gilbert will be his first as 51.5 jam.
Both teams are now one and one.
So look familiar grow up to come down.
Not to check for three but maybe attack the rim if they can get a foul and get to the free throw line, they can sustain this five point lead.
Nate Curtis.
This is the front end of the one and one had the chance to get it to possibly a one possession game.
45 seconds and counting here.
First half back and forth battle for the boys.
Five a championship.
Monroe Robbins chasing their first Milagros chasing their sixth in a row 30 seconds under now looks like I'll Tyreek Gilbert's going to hold it out there guarded by Terry Harris again go for the last shot, which is very smart.
There's a reason why Coach White has five championship on his belt.
A grin from Terry Harris guarding Gilbert who wants that challenge.
You see it in the court go five for ISO pull out three off the back of the rim no good and that'll do it for the first half.
Miller Grove plays for the last shot.
Doesn't have it happen.
They had the lead at a six point run, tried to run away with it five point advantage at the half.
Here's Raven with the coach, with his coach.
Obviously you have the lead.
Not the prettiest basketball we've ever seen, so it makes you uneasy right now.
Just, ah, you know, ability to make consistent plays.
You know, we'll get up and we'll make some plays that makes us inconsistent.
And so by doing that, we've allowed them to stay in the game.
And so you got to clean it up a little bit.
Like you said, some ugly basketball.
We've got to clean it up.
We got to play a little bit better.
We can play better than this and hopefully we will.
What adjustments are we going to see?
We just got to do a better job of finding their guys on defense and now we got to convert the opportunities off as we're missing free throws.
Their hand free throws, keeping them in the game and we just got to do a better job, just got to clean it up, you know, make some adjustments happen.
Hopefully, you know, we'll be able to see those adjustments.
All right, Coach.
Well, good luck.
Thank you.
All right.
Over to you, Mark.
All right, Raven, thank you very much for at halftime of the boys five, a state championship game, Miller Grove going for a record sixth straight win.
They have the lead right now by five 2722 over Warner Robins app.
That's just ahead.
We're going to have some first half highlights.
You're going to want to see those relive all the magic 15 of the past 16 minutes to blast your favorite six words from each other.
Ahead on TV.

Welcome back to the Making coliseum.
Welcome back to GB's coverage of the G8.
That's a boys and girls basketball championship live in the heart of Georgia.
We're at the half time the boys five championship game and miller grove just 16 minutes away from a date with destiny.
They are trying to make it six straight state titles here, but I think the fans from Warner Robins and the team from Warner Robins has a little something to say about that.
But before we get to the second half of this game, we want to hear about what you have to say about a hashtag project we are working on here at GPB.
Hashtag six words from a Southerner.
Let's check in with Grace Olson and our news director, Ricky Babington.
Thank you.
That's right, sir.
We've been asking you all day long to treat with that hashtag six words for a Southerner.
Tell us from a Southerner I'm sorry, telling us what it means to you to be a Southerner.
Right here.
We've got our news director, Rickey Bevington, to tell us a little more about it.
Well, there's so much pride here in this coliseum right now, and I know you're feeling it at home for your team in your school.
We also want to know about your pride in being a Southerner.
So we've got this hashtag.
It's hashtag six, never six words from a Southerner.
And you can tweet us, you can send us a photo or a video.
We're going to take a look at some videos that came in on Vine already.
We'll take a look.
There's Atlanta and then there's the South.
Everybody says girl or boom, continuously.
Okay, hot, cold and can't drive on ice.
All right.
So remember, it's six words from a Southerner, six words you need to be tweeting or putting on Instagram.
I'm going to read a few highlights here.
We've got Southern girls don't sweat, They glisten.
I like that.
Great.
Here's another reference to our wonderful food.
Scattered, smothered, covered chunk dice and tops.
Everyone loves that southern food.
We love it.
Keep those tweets coming, Keep those vines coming.
Let's bring in the poster, six words from a Southerner.
You heard it.
Let's send it back over to Martin Laughs.
All right.
All I know is I love Georgia high school basketball.
So those are my six for tonight.
Let's check out the Georgia EMC high school basketball scoreboard here on championship weekend on JB.
First off, today in the class double AA girls it was Kendrick winning over Wesleyan 69 to 58.
J.C. repeats as the boys champ beating Calhoun in a great game 58 to 55.
It was Tucker winning the girls five eight championship game 8365 over top ranked Southwest to cap and right now at the half Miller Grove leads a tough Warner Robin Demons team by five points 2722.

We're getting ready for the final 16 minutes of the final game of today's action.
As Miller Grove takes on Warner Robins for the second half, it's going to be an exciting 16 minutes of basketball action.
Shawn Gordon and Jon Nelson.
We'll be right back with the call after this quick time out here on DVD.
Welcome back.
Macon Coliseum, Macon Center, flex time for the boys.
Five a second half after 16 minutes.
Miller Grove with a five point advantage, 27 to 22.
Let's see who gets history.
Is it going to be Houston County first or is it going to be Miller Grove six time?
John It's just Sean And what stuck out with you for the first half?
So, John, both teams are actually playing pretty well outside of shooting the ball, but both teams can't equal the one thing.
That's a question mark is Milagros ability to make free throws.
They're three of eight right now.
If they hit these free throws, it needs to be a ten point game.
All right.
Let's take a look at the first half highlights.
You see the free throw percentages right there.
You know, it's staggering.
Numbers three for 87 of nine, Nate Curtis early on.
But one rock with this is that one to Robbins his thoughts on attacking the rim in transition dunk baskets and attacking the rim with Curtis so everything about one to run Miss John has been about inside the paint but then you come back with Smyly Grove.
Milagros done a good job of attacking four slowing down defense in the inside, but Richardson finishing down low.
So both teams John playing pretty much equal, not shooting the ball which is what Milagros coach coaches talked about going into halftime now second half 16 minutes away.
Who can come out on top and play well?
Farm Bureau Stats.
Farm Bureau Georgia gives us our halftime stats stats courtesy West Georgia Technical College.
Just send it over to Raven Tirado Coach Garman Coach Down was the message in the locker room.
We got to take care of the ball and rebound and you've got to rebound and keep getting back in transition and now take care of things that we need.
Big hero.
All right, Coach.
Well, good luck.
Thanks.
Back over to you, John.
Thank you very much, Raven.
Now, we talked about those free throw numbers and just the absolute despair gritty that they are.
He's Pinkney from the line one for four.
There you go.
There's the numbers.
Miller drove three of 37 and a half percent.
Warner Robins hits seven of nine 78%, but that's 78% from the foul line makes up for the fact that they were only seven of 21 from the floor where Miller Grove shot 42% in the first half, they were on three of eight.
Miller Grove working left to right here, second half up five in a recycle The offense here all Tariq Gilbert number three looking at Richardson picks it up kicked it to the corner instead took him to Williams back out to ICE Gilbert But John Ashton like the Pacers of Miller Grove, they're not trying to force the action right now.
If he's there it if it's not, pull it back out and reset it Jumper Walker short missed everything inside second chance no.
Galloway coming out with it for Warner Robins fighting with it it was Rayland Richardson that Warner Robins will come back down trying to score the first points here in the third quarter.
Yeah, not the shot.
They want it with Walker taking in the 17 foot jumper to start the second half.
Sam Harris tonight Curtis left hand too much missed everything coming back Miller Grove now great idea working the baseline worked a little bit in the first half down at the foul has all Tariq Gilbert hit the deck Harris is fouls on Sam Harris his second let's watch the drive He came up a little gimpy and see that explosion right there at the end such a crafted player.
He's low to the ground John uses his gravity, uses his balance finishes for the to end the three point play.
He gets the margin back out to eight minute five in.
Now, in college, it's usually the first 5 minutes of each half as important.
So I guess it's safe to say the first 4 minutes here of the third quarter, just as important for every minute, John, is important because you could come out with a 16 point lead and you can lose it easily in the fourth quarter.
So here in high school, every minute, every second counts.
Jumper from the corner is good.
Look for the timeout.
Look for that timeout is going to call out timeout jumper from the corner the lead 1 to 11 in a hurry is calling it 3030 40 minutes.
Just trying to make sure that everything is brought back to square.
Well the hard thing is think of this, John.
For the last seven days, just Warner Robins team has embraced all the energy, all the emotion.
They rolled that in the first half.
You've come out of halftime now everything comes back to some normalcy.
How do you sustain that intensity?
What do you do?
They've got to come out here with a focus and a mindset to get back to the level they were playing in starting the game six six, run four, Miller Grove the last 532 to get it to an 11 point margin here.
And a reminder to Sam Harris, it's okay to run the baseline if he needs to inbound the basketball man pressures it looks like he's taken he had a handful of Marquis Galloway's jersey before he let him go.
The double down Galloway crossover off the glass to hard rebound on the inside coming out with it Miller grows ready to run two on two trying to come up with something off the right hit Porzingis Gilbert fouled again as he went on his first and the pressure from Miller Grove John is doing exactly what it's supposed to do They are forcing one Robyn's not to drive all the way to the basket because there's help there.
They have forced them to pull up a little bit more for them.
Now Milagros getting the rebound and coming back in transition foul on Jeff Murray.
That's his first and Gilbert's numbers missed the free throw again to come back to find them late Nate Curtis with the rebound margin is 12 2 minutes in third here in the five eight championship and I guess the message is take it a possession at a time rimmed out no good by Galloway Curtis couldn't get the follow nor drove looked like they wanted to run with it spot up Gilbert three rim no good coming back Warner Robins they're going to think about it They've got two on two.
Galloway going through the paint and rimmed out no good but they call the foul It's just hitting that outside shot tonight.
John He's not elevating the way he should.
It's almost like a set shot.
He's trying to be very comfortable and cool with itself.
Stepping in, elevating his shooting at his peak.
Delon Rayland Richardson, his third, Something to pay attention to as we go for Miller Grove here.
Two and a half minutes in third quarter.
First free throw.
It's the front of the rim and down but that little seven over run for Miller Grove stop the Wolverines offense temporarily two free throws Galloway has 13 now from Warner Robins 24 points inside easy two for James Walker that time and said that was a big time play from Gilbert They still have to earn his outside shot his shot fake got to the rim found the open teammates Galloway coming back baseline try to go for a jam Stefon Raybon didn't work coming down one on one Pinckney drives high and count it sometimes on the ball bounces one way for one team, one way for the other team.
Warner Robins didn't get the bounce on the previous play, but then you have Pinckney coming down the court with Miller Grove, the chance for a three point play here in the rim loved him to him the entire time.
Foul on Jeff Murray his second and the rim loved him again that time margin out to 15 at 3924 3 minutes in third quarter Warner Robins has to take it just two possession at a time make sure it doesn't spiral out of control from this moment forward.
Don't rush and just do got gotcha here.
Jay Curtis runs into his own man coming back.
Pinckney Another timeout, Another timeout.
What you have to do is you can't allow bleeding to happen so early here in the third quarter and therefore need a timeout If you want a Robin Williams off his Kendall Williams stays with Warner Robins who's the last look running into his own traffic and see those is self-inflicted wounds When you run into your own teammate and you give up he's the basket on the other end.
JOHNS Those are the plays.
They actually embrace a dagger straight into what you're trying to accomplish.
Braylon Richardson knocks it out of bounds, stays with Warner Robins 14 to 2 run Miller throws this quarter to put it to a 17 point margin and it's like they're going to call Pinckney for the foul.
They're on the reaching It'll be his first spurs Pinckney with eight in the quarter has 14 to lead Miller Grant James Walker with nine Curtis looking for help gets it Jeff Murray Jumper's good much needed jump shot much needed basket they have to Milagro to back into this 14 point lead the offensive foul ball on Miller Grove coming back the other way and the fouls on Pinckney as he was jousting with Jeff Murray coming down the floor Here's there's Murray and Pinckney the old jousting little jawing yeah I caught him right there at the end and extended the arms.
Sometimes he's got to play basketball and let the emotions take care of themselves.
Long three.
No good in the paint picked up by Miller there looking to come under the halfway point here in the third quarter.
Pass by Gilbert into the hands of Nate Curtis.
He doesn't have numbers.
He's got traffic coming from behind and it looks like he carried it and he did.
And off that carry, we're going to carry it to a bit of a break.
We'll be back in a little bit.
Miller Grove dominating here in the third quarter as we determine the five a boys champ, the Macon Coliseum taking center place.
We'll be back for the rest of the third on GPB.
Welcome back.
Megan coliseum making the center flex milagro with a 14 point advantage 348 for the third and we don't necessarily want to call it the wayback machine.
Maybe the yesterday machine, but fine, you go for it all.
The Miller Grove run that started Miller Grove and Tucker, here's where the first one was of the runs that has continued until tonight.
When you think about Miller Grove basketball, always the starting point.
And this was at the arena when at center feeding Tucker dominating performance 5733 5931 sorry was the final score there Miller Grove ready to celebrate and they finally get the chance to do it, beating the Tucker Tigers by 28 at the arena when at center to get that first state title for the program.
The charm White has built into cap county and that's where we are right now the first of five and if you look at Sherm White's hand, at some point, if he decides to show you that right hand, he's wearing the fifth ring from last year's squad.
Talk about the dominance of Miller Grove, 14 four run this quarter.
And there's that number five ring right hand hands folded, purple and black dress is always a very modest person.
Johnny's a great person, not just a coach as a father figure, but a great person in the community.
And I've had a chance to knows Coach White for such a long time, called him a dear friend.
And the things that he does for these young men not just to become better basketball players, but big better people.
Now, on Jeff Murray on the offensive side, it's his third place as one of Robbins with three easy pass inside to James Walker For two things on that move there I think is going to start the bleeding.
I think it's going to start the bleeding now.
Miller Grove is in there, Drew, and you talk about the intimidation factor.
You can see the eyes of this team here for one.
And Robbins starting to get really big, like a deer in headlights.
He faked looking to drive.
Richardson wanted it inside, but battling it out high.
Kendall Williams.
Williams will get the ice.
Gilbert will look to drive.
And he does into the paint hands in the passing lanes.
Take it back out Richardson Easy Give Walker two great basketball great passing teamwork great unity intercepted and high pass with the heavy defense three pointer champ got a time out You have to call a timeout You have to call a timeout.
Control this game.
Do not let it get out of control and Robbins coming back for two and a half It's blocked 236 to go Miller Grove's lead all of a sudden just balloons to 2129 11 in the quarter There's so explosive the way they play, they'll beat you Wade sometimes it beats about to in this position four net position and there was a run about 6 to 7 possessions that they dominated the game to push it up to a 19 point lead foul on James Walker That is his second fourth foul on Miller Grove one ROBBINS Also with four Boykins and Dorsett coming in for Miller, Joe looks like Kendall Williams to sit and Richardson was so Marquis Calloway leading scorer for the Robins with 13 three other players have scored three on Robbins in this game as he misses both 310 but tough defense by Warner Robins there Devin Dorsett will inbound back out up high to Pinckney Pinckney looking to drive kick baseline jumper Airball misses everything going set for the two as you can tell by the body language John here of Warner Robins Dave Estes waved the white towel already just with 2 minutes to go in the third quarter, they've got to hit shots to get back in this game and that was a great opportunity.
They're getting the easy to be in transition.
Jeff Murray with the Bucket gets it to a 21 point lead coming up on 2 minutes to go in the third.
Norgrove Grove right now hitting it for song, trying to get that sixth straight title out of bounds and go back to Warner.
And that shows the youthfulness there of Gilbert understanding.
Thomas Gordon got a 19 point.
He got a 21 point leads on time and score, and Coach White was encouraging them to spread the ball.
Let's go into the fourth quarter with a good lead.
You didn't need the turnover there to give them a little bit more encouragement as we finish out the third block on the inside.
Warner Robins, the second chance no good there to basket tried both missed intercepted in heavy hands.
Galloway had it going the whistle they had a timeout fouls on Stefon Rabon and Warner Robins that's his third Jeff Murray with three Stefon on Rabon with three right now for the Demons as we head into the last 90 seconds of the third quarter at Miller Brothers dominating performance here in the third quarter to distance themselves here.
And Venable calls it the foul.
It's his second season.
Note Early celebration is needed Zone a minute 28 left in the third continue to play handle prosperity.
You can hear it first hand of prosperity and play the game out.
Marquis Callaway bring it up guarded by Grant Boykin.
If Andre Bonds sets the screen, Calloway tries to drive Tyler Whistle.
It's like this one might be on the set, be four sets first, the sixth on Miller Grove on Robins with five here in the quarter.
Let's take another look at it.
Great drive to the basket would absorb the contact free throw Callaway is now missed his last three and he just look at the body language John look at the body language.
Everybody's pulling at shorts.
Nobody's being positive right now for this Warner Robins team.
A lot of time, the body language tells the story.
75 seconds for the third, Warner Robins, fourth free throw in a row missed.
And there's the look right now by Warner Robins.
Looking out here on the floor, you have frustration and despair.
They would have Warner Robins team.
They came out on an emotional high, John, and looks like now they had an emotional low go set jumper short.
It's like he's going to get his own rebound and no one to claim it all.
Knocked down on the floor, scrambled, knocked out of bounds.
And where's it going to go?
It's going to go to Warner Robins here with 57 seconds.
So let's see what Warner Robins does here in the last minute of the third quarter.
Try to get some points on the board to trim this 21 point deficit offensive foul and take it back the other way.
It looks like the foul is on Stephon Rabon.
That's his fourth in.
Once he establishes John, you can't move when you try to set that high ball screen.
You got to allow your teammate who has the ball, he has a used ball screen to his advantage instead of you have the move the entire time, forcing the defense to shift stuff.
Andre Bourne will sit with four fouls, 32 Donald lost his junior now in the game for Warner Robins and more.
Venable with without Way high, just a boy can scramble to be picked up.
Let's see what Warner Robins can do with it here.
A lot of busy hands for Miller Grove, disrupting the attempt in transition and now come back out with it, work their way down the floor.
Dorsett has it tries to throw something up and there's going to be a foul call on Watkins as Dorsett try to create some offense in transition himself scores much Watkins with the foul 17.9 goal set misses the first three breaks and looks like both teams boy emotionally strange on emotion has been a big factor in tonight's contest between Miller Grove and Warner Robins.
And I can see how it's taken a toll on both squads, though.
Set right on his season average, averaging 7.9 coming in and four rebounds now has nine points for no margin back to 22.
It's 5129 when Robins will play for the last shot here in the third quarter.
High arching shot back of the rim.
No good 8 seconds in transition.
Almost looks like it there.
Devin Dorsett gets the two there as the third quarter is going to come to a close and domination by Miller Grove after 24 minutes the lead is 24 and this is what happens when you unleash a crew on guys who have no rhythm.
At least one of us does leave it to you to decide.
8 minutes to go for the five a title game in here on the great Jacobs the Rockets you shot.
It's a foul back.
There's somebody who's got better moves than at least one of us.
He's got better moves than I do.
Jon Golden.
I'm sure he's seen all these guys have better moves.
Make Jonell challenge him after the game is over and we're off the air to a dance contest.
26 seven run to end the quarter, scoring as many points in the third zone will sit in the first two.
Let's talk about the continuing run of championships that Miller Grove had.
Let's send you to the Arena Gwinnett Center in 2012.
Going up against Southwest, the Cavs, Tony Parker and the crew there, 32 wide, Tony Parker and the thumper there and a thumper there.
What do you want to bet another one you want to talk about?
Yes.
Some serious plumber duty, Tony Parker with the big flush working that had a big night as Miller Grove won in 2012, taking out Southwest.
The Cavs for number four.
Looks like they're well on their way to number 626 to 7 in the third quarter after scoring 15 in the first, 12 in the second.
And coach Wade just doing a fantastic job, the job done here.
Miller Grove, he is in the middle of a dynasty we're seeing not in the making, not at the beginning, not in the end.
In the middle of the six in a row.
Looks like he's heading for six in a row.
Unheard of third quarter field goal numbers.
Warner Robins, two of nine from the floor in the third, Miller broke 1050.
Wow.
Transition baskets threes scoring in all aspects of the game and the overall run from when the game was tight early on a 3713 run by Miller Throw, they have clamped it down since early in the second quarter.
Yeah, and I like having to this doing right now instead of getting in a boxing match with this team this go ahead milked the clock to go home with another ring Pinkney Walker miss coming back Warner Robins Nate Curtis drive high over tries the dunk he missed it but they're going to call a foul.
One thing I like about Gilbert he is fearless and basketball is he's not afraid to take on challenges.
He's not afraid to contest dunks.
He has a bright future.
That young man, a foul, called on Gilbert his second 34 seconds into the quarter.
First free throw by Curtis is good.
Let's take a look at the handiwork underneath as Curtis tries for the drive.
Curtis doing a great job and then Gilbert coming in at five foot 11, just contesting every basket as much as he came.
And did I see his hand over the rim as he was trying to swipe with the right hand?
Sure enough, he did.
And deceptive his athlete.
He's he is he's so quick and strong with the basketball.
5331 there's Gilbert with the dish trying to get others in the booking certainly does Raylan Richardson against Nancy right now you can see the fear in the eyes from Warner Robins just not attacking him, playing with the same sense of fervor they had at the beginning of the game.
Steph and Raven for two 5533 a minute, ten down here in the fourth, Miller's Rose.
As the clock ticks, you see that much time left before they get their sixth straight boys championship setting and records in the boys here in the USA.
Lewis 16.
That's it for Step on Raven.
That is his best game and he is done for the night with two points going out with 644 to go regulation coming back in Armani Bibbs the six to senior Raven will be back for the squad first free throw up and good by James Walker and Walker's done a good job tonight John to being a strong presence down low but he's also hit outside shot so he's been a threat for this team.
Fighting for six Walker averages a double double during the year averaged 12 points 11 rebounds is a three year Letterman for charm White has the margins back up to two dozen coming up on six and a half to go.
Regulation goes to the inside wall deflected out of bounds has been stride to drive it stay with Warner Robins at least I thought it was but it was knocked out.
This is Warner Robins tonight right here stumble out of bounds is Bibbs tried to drive up Pinckney on the clear working inside drop step Richardson No coming back out Warner Robins Nate Curtis wanted it deep gets it outside the three point line short might have been partially deflected and Miller Grove's going to take it easy.
Coming up again, the smart basketball on middle goes to half controlling the and slowing the game.
Taking your time ice Gilbert guarded by Sam Harris left hand counts it in He's that quick John I'm telling you he doesn't look quick He doesn't look athletic when he goes by you he blows volume hands like you could put that on a t shirt three point attempt, no good picked up by Miller.
When he goes by, he blows by him.
We'll put them in a Sean John collection.
That's shj0n Diego.
I say j you in jail in ice Gilbert being guarded by Sam Harris give go frees him up tried to I think be a little too nice with the handoff when he could have had the bucket on the drive Warner Robins coming back the other way Nate Curtis off the left tip no and a foul in respect to Blake Warner Robins is still in attack mode, John which is good.
You're going to finish out the game play well and they hit something they're coming out of halftime and never was able to get back on track fouls on James Walker his third There's Jamaal Gorman We mentioned a three sport start Warner Robins had some cups of coffee, an arena ball played in this building for the Macon Knights of Two.
So when he came in, he was reminiscing.
It's like the I remember coming out of this locker room, coming out of this locker room, and he had that players itch before the game, getting ready for a championship.
They've got a lot to be proud of Warner Robins for this season.
Oh, they do, John.
They united the community.
Everyone rallied behind this team.
And look at the support you had tonight.
Fantastic job.
Long jumper off the back of the rim No Good by Marquis Calloway coming up on four and a half to go regulation and no trouble walk it up one more time to Pinckney picked by Richardson on the screen and call a foul but the foul on Curtis that's Curtis's third Warner Robins made the playoffs last year with a losing record.
The expectations for themselves were very high.
They've had a tremendous run getting to this championship game.
Jamal Garman was the coach of these kids in sixth grade, and that was when he first had coaching duties in the Warner Robins system.
So he's coached the seniors today's seniors on the Demons roster ever since they were sixth graders.
So it's a culmination of a lot of hard work and a lot of effort through middle school and high school, finishing up today here at the Macon Coliseum as they ran into a true championship team in Miller's Road.
Yeah, Miller Grove to showcase some their ability to win big games, especially here in the state of Georgia.
And I like the fact that he's taking this team, John, on the road and playing a national schedule because they have become a nationally known high school program as ICE.
Gilbert started by Sam Harris falls out of bounds, heading back to Warner Robins.
And there's Sherm White, the architect.
He grew up coaching other kids in his old Decatur, Georgia, neighborhood, graduated Georgia Southern, returned to Atlanta after graduation to coach middle school.
Basket it up and in by Calloway took a three win Carver Atlanta team from 2001 as the basket doesn't fall Richardson up no good he'll go to the line There's charm White hired by Carver Atlanta in 2001 led the Panthers to the second round in his first season state runner up finish in 2003.
And joining me you talk about what he's done.
He's a modest coach, a modest man, but he's got a four state coach of the year awards for AJC, coach of the Year awards.
He's chosen the Jordan Game classic, the Nike Skills Clinic, the Bobby Crimmins coach of the Year Award 2013 and the DeKalb County coach of the Year award.
Big block coming back the other way, Will it happened in transition in the paint The answer yes.
It's up to 26 now with three and a half to go Regulation busy hands by Miller Grove still Calloway up off the back of the rim No good coming back out door set Gilbert give and go Dorsett with the dish and a two James Walker with the bucket 28 points now with 3 minutes to go two in the paint off the back of the rim and that pretty much just summed up the night as Armani.
Bibbs missed a shot off the rim.
The bunny Gilbert stops Dorsett drop step dish Richardson rimmed out no good coming back Warner Robins are they going to end up in our last answer?
No.
But they'll have numbers coming down.
Nate Curtis and Curtis have a chance to show his athletic skills here late in the game.
Looks like I think Eisman has either cramp or something doesn't turn his calf, and I think he may be done for the night, John.
I think he may done.
Shaun White called a throw.
Usually when someone's walking with their leg at 90 degrees and that's what's going to happen.
Let's come back here to the make it coliseum and make it center flex.
Last year off the opening tap, Miller drove got to play Gainesville who had some football players.
Deshaun Watson was part of that roster sets up a three knocks it down there to keep Gainesville tight early on Gainesville had a couple of football players that came on the red elephant roster to keep it tight.
But Miller Grove eventually would expand their dominance for another year and that was five.
And that's the ring Sean White's wearing.
Tonight was the fifth one and they're 233 away getting a six point.
Hey, John, before we end tonight, I've got 67 words.
Uh huh.
Is that ringing?
Oh, dear.
Uh huh.
Down yonder.
Uh huh.
And Mama.
Dim Mama, dear.
Okay.
Six words for a Southern person.

Jean Durden goes up against Saint Pius and Buford goes for the Daily Double, going up against a familiar opponent, Morgan County.
Then the six A's, McEachern and Archer.
Tell us, Arthur McEachern going up against the upstart Archer squad and the six eight Boys competition, Wheeler and Smith County.
Or you get to see Todd Jackson and it looks like some white starting to empty the bench.
At the 209, James Walker gets to see Omar Venable in the game.
Boykin Miss looks like Venable is going to be called for over and back at 201.
And John, let's talk about this little girl team real quickly at this season started, John, with an emotional breakdown, right, with the loss of a teammate, Terrell Coleman.
Right.
And again, much respect to his family and what this has meant to this team, the school and community, everyone has embraced this team.
This team has overcome a lot of emotion and tonight have a chance to go down in history six in a row and win one four.
Number 24, six, four, two, four, and hashtag CWA.
Together we attack.
We still listed on the active roster Terrell Coleman and he seems to pay for you have you'll see 24 games will always be a65 freshman at £200 warm up suits There's always a 24 with a bright future ranked number 13 in the nation.
And you know, every day now promised to us.
So you got to be thankful for every day that you wake up 25 point game here under 2 minutes to go paint need free throw Got it You know saw this team John if you a few weeks ago versus Tucker with my old roommates teammates in college Rod Cole and he's talked about this Miller Grove team how good they are has special they are and he was right and Rod you were correct on this one man this team is really, really good.
Two free throws by James Pinckney Josh Jackman coming in and he think he will sit So it's Dorsett Venable, Deshawn Street, Josh Jackman and for Miller Groves right now Keith Pinckney's tremendous night as he heads to Houston Texas 21 and seven with two assist back to New Orleans sorry Tulane third foul on Armani Bibbs now that's in Conference USA Action Purple Nation There's a lot of purple here A lot of purple.
But you got to look at the support they have from the cap county.
John.
This is huge.
These Young men are very grateful and appreciative because their parents have brought in to work.
Coach White is doing the teachers, the students the administrators.
It takes everyone to build a program, just not a coach and players.
It takes everyone involved to build in successful program.
Sean White has done it from scratch.
Started Miller Grove in 2004 after leaving Carver Atlanta to start something from scratch.
When you got a freshman point guard like to find your know is Devin Dorsett checks out 6 to 8 final fours five championships in eight first team in Georgia state history to win five and to be the first to win six and he's a father of two is doing tremendous things right now at Miller Grove.
They have no signs of stopping as at 68, 41 under 90 seconds.
And John, their jayvee squad just won DeKalb County championship this this year as well, too.
So they're just they're just reloading, getting set up, get that gun locked and ready for next seasons in eight years that Miller Grove is the foul is on Harris his first cherry here 234 and 47 coming into this game so divide that by eight you're looking about 28 wins a year for the last eight seasons.
So he's averaging 28 and six over his tenure and creating this program at Miller Grove 80 seconds to go 6841 Miller Groves 26 to 7 third quarter put the hammer down Miller groves got numbers missed a dunk follow up up and in Deshawn Street with two guys from various Brown with a smile on his face because I think the plane left the runway a little early they may not have reached as high as it go.
11 didn't go to all fours, is what you're saying.
Oh, no, no, I did not.
I think he stopped it.
Three and a half floors of a full floor.
You Got to look at the fourth floor.
But he was stuck in between the doors open.
He can see the fourth floor, but he couldn't get up there.
I thought it was the dish to the inside bucket.
Missed 30 seconds to go.
And starting in the third quarter, I think this really was a coronation for Miller growth.
And see, we talk about emotion, John.
If you can sustain the emotion, that's great.
And this Miller Grove team did exactly what it wanted to do.
They played well, but it after halftime they made a few adjustments and they pushed the ball out and the push to lead out very quickly and this built on it from scratch.
What was the quote the charm White gave us this week?
Hunting.
Is it fun if the rabbit got a gun hot, Nate Fine.
If the rabbit got a gun.
So at 32.8, it's a 27 point lead.
Milligram is going to take their time.
You got all Tariq Gilbert coming back to four oh student as a sophomore.
If he gets a B on the test, he's got to skip practice because he wants to go get tutors.
How about I got to keep out that that that's a great attitude.
And one of his teachers didn't even know he played basketball because he was so such a modest student there in the class.
Coming up, final 5 seconds to go intercepted Miller Grove.
Looks like they're just going to dribble it out and it is history for the Wolverines and so many stories and stories you need to.
The third quarter started it all for Miller Grove as they now have to work on rings for a second hand.
Let's send it over to Raven Toronto to celebrate.
Coach.
A lot of emotion and turmoil to start off your season.
So what was your first thought when the buzzer went off and the clock hit zero?
Mission accomplished.
Mission accomplished.
We wanted to win a championship for a different reason this year.
That's our young man that we lost at the beginning of the year.
To recall him, it really meant a lot to lose family and for us to lose him today before we officially start practice.
And these kids had to fight through adversity and we told them, you know, adversity shows either how weak or how strong you are.
And they showed a lot of strength throughout the season.
And just to see them come through that like young man, it's just is a reward for me as a coach going off of that six four.
Number 24, What is this rank on your list of accomplishments?
Oh, let me tell you, this one was special because of all the circumstances, all the things that these kids had to go through a like no other group.
It wasn't an injury.
Wasn't it it was actually losing one of their brothers.
So, you know, it is very special and it's up there.
It just shows you how, you know, you can take a young man and teach them the way that they should go it with the Lord's blessing.
They were able to overcome this and we were absolutely thrilled.
Darryl, we love you and we died because of you.
We were able to do this.
Coach, congratulations.
You're a class act.
Thank you.
Back over to you, John.
Six for two for.
Thank you, Raven, very much.
When we come back, we will have the trophy ceremony for Miller Grove, as they have six in a row.
In five, a fact Jamaican in just a bit on GPB last night in I'll see you Macon center plex Miller Grove six in a row state champs on the boys side 6424 Send it over to Mark Harmon for a very special moment.
Thank you, John Nelson.
Time now to present the five eight championship trophy once again to the Wolverines of Milagro High School.
For that, we turn it over to executive director of the HSA, Dr. Ralph Swearingen.
Thank you, Mark.
On behalf of Georgia High School Association, Georgia Farm, it is my pleasure once again to present the state Championship trophy to Miller Grove High School.
All right, senior team, big name there.
You've got the trophy.
You've got the ball there.
Talk about what this means to make history in the state of Georgia with sixth grade boys championship.
Oh, man, it means a lot.
First of all, we just want to thank God a man without him, this wouldn't have been possible.
But we worked so hard every day.
All our coaches, we all did it together.
And most importantly, we did for Casey Aldridge.
Gibson He had a great game out there, just a sophomore.
Talk about winning this one.
Yeah, it was very special to not only me but my teammates and I mean our parents.
And we just want to thank everyone for the support throughout the season and that's it.
All right.
Let's bring in coach Shaun White over here.
I know it's been a very, very emotional season for you, but talk about making history here in the state of Georgia with six in a row.
Oh, it's just a is a credit to these guys.
You know, the good Lord has Blessed Milagro to have a program like to have good young men to come through and buy into what it is we want to do and which is win championships and exceed any expectations that placed before us.
And I'm just so proud of them because they had to fight through a lot of adversity.
You know, a lot of people doubted them and say, this is what our weakest teams, what have you, but we always end up where we end up.
And that's right here, win the state championship six straight times.
Who can do it?
We did.
I'm an old guy.
I don't remember a time Millard Road wasn't great.
Talk a little bit about building the dynasty there.
It just started off with young man like, move all, you know, few Stephen Hill guys who are born into their professional careers that bought in and that set the foundation this hard work, commitment and sacrifice.
And they pass this along.
They talk to these guys all the time and he always remind them of all the work they put in and the bricks they lay early.
And I'm just, you know, again, just proud of these guys and how they just take that challenge on and they don't want it to be on their watch.
So they're working their tails off to make sure that it happens that it doesn't.
So we won't lose it.
All right.
Congratulations.
Coach Sherman White to his Miller Grove Wolverines six times in a row.
Never been done in boys basketball in the state, Georgia.
Congratulations.
And now over to Claire Simms wrap up show.
Thank you so much, Mark.
What an amazing ride.
Miller Grove has had.
And I can bet you, Grace, that we will see them right back here next year.
But this is something that people have been talking about all night long.
They've been looking forward to this game now that it's over.
Let's talk a little bit about what people have to say.
This is a big one.
I mean, earlier in the day, we started seeing the purple pour into the Macon Coliseum.
These wolverines were extremely excited about this.
And we didn't only see that here in the arena.
We saw that all all day long on social media and obviously all throughout the game, I've urged the hashtag that we're using was six feet.
They were really looking for their six win.
And they could tell earlier in the game about halftime, these viewers thought that they those Miller Grove Wolverines it in the bag.
So they were all over Twitter, very excited for their boys.
And we also captured a ton of the action all day long on Facebook.
We took photos and videos.
So we you need to check us out on Facebook like us to find all those photos and videos from the day class.
Yeah.
And those Miller Grove fans who just can't get enough of those last couple minutes.
I find the last couple seconds of that game.
Check it out.
Look for me at Claire Sims on Twitter.
Oh, Mark about that.
Such an exciting trophy presentation.
Six in a row for Miller Grove.
Never been done in the boys category before.
Wesleyan has done it seven times in a row in the girls.
Wow.
But you know what?
This is just day to.
Right?
We have a lot more to come six more tomorrow, I tell you.
Let's check out today a final look at the Georgia EMC scoreboard for today.
We crowned four champions yesterday.
We crowned four more today.
We've got Wesleyan a loser.
Kendrick, a winner in double eight girls, 69 to 58 in the boys Double-A, Greater Atlanta Christian repeat, they beat Calhoun 58 to 55 girls five eight.
It's Tucker winning their first ever girls championship 8365 over southwest to cab and we've got Miller Grove over Warner Robins 7243.
You're final there six in a row.
That's six feet, if you will.
That's a real wondering.
But you know, everything gets started right back here again tomorrow at 11 a.m.
It's going to be our longest day of the three we're spending down here in Macon.
And so that means it's just chock full of action.
Starting at 11.
It's the girls single, a private that is southwest Atlanta Christian Academy versus Holy Innocents.
Then we're going to go over to the boys side, single-A private Winfield Academy versus Saint Francis.
And then we will be moving on to the Buford girls versus the Saint Pius girls and the three AA category then and boys.
Buford is going to be on the court again.
We're facing off with Morgan County.
And then at 7:00, it's going to be the girls six AA McEachern and Archer, and then we're going to wrap it all up.
Finally, three exciting days right here on GPB at 830 with the boys, six day wheelers taking on to county.
