Michael Doerr, 17, a finalist in the 2012 Bolz Young Artist Competition, is a homeschooled high school senior. He has been playing piano for more than thirteen years. Michael is a six-time winner of the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association's Badger Keyboard competitions. In 2011, he represented Wisconsin in the Music Teachers National Association's National Senior Piano Competition.
